On November 05, the 2nd International Workshop WaKap „SUSTAINABLE WATER TREATMENT AND WATER MANAGEMENT IN VIETNAM“ (WoWa18) took place at the Vietnamese German University in Ho Chi Minh City.
Attendees of different Vietnamese universities, research institutes and companies, gathered at the workshop to discuss current projects and ongoing research on different water related topics including water treatment, arsenic removal, electrochemistry, phytoremediation, water management, membrane technologies, etc. One of the main topics of the event was presenting the results obtained this far within our joint research project WaKap, where we are testing innovative concepts for the sustainable treatment of arsenic and water desalination in the Mekong Delta.
The Workshop was possible thanks to the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the German Federal Ministry of Education of Research.
